The Chickapede is a EXTREMELY rare monster, and can only be found in the Neige Snow Field area, on Misty Blossom Fissure, and has a low chance of appearing in battle. If you EVER find one, try to capture it.
Monster CaptureEdit
To be able to use the "Capture" skill on monsters, the targeted monster's HP must be below 5% of its maximum HP. In addition, the higher your STR, INT, LUK stats and dark magic skill level, the better your chances at capturing monsters becomes. Also, the stronger the monster, the more difficult it will be to capture them.
The skill "Merciful Strike" will greatly help out when trying to capture a monster, since it leaves the target with at least one HP left no matter what. Inflicting status ailments like Paralysis and Sleep will also be of benefit to capturing monsters, so try to inflict your target with status ailments as often as you can.
If the monster can't be captured, they require the assistance of monster fusion.
Some monsters, like the Elemental Knights, cannot be captured nor can be the result of a fusion.
Uncapturable MonstersEdit
These monsters can't be captured the normal way. They require the assitance of monster fusion to acquire them. There may be other combinations besides the ones listed. Some of the listed fusions may produce a mix result such as Chariot's "Diabolos + Diabolos" or Master Golem's and/or Guardian's "Rafflesia + Diabolos". All you have to do is to simply cancel the fusion and try again until you get the desired result.

- They will also help you protect key characters from very dangerous attacks that will instantly defeat them.
- You can unleash their ultimate EX Skill if you build their SP up to 250.
- They come with free equipment as well, so make sure you enhance them when you do so.
