The original game was released in 2007 in Japan on PS3 under the name Agaresuto Senki (アガレスト戦記). A prequel was released in 2009 under the name Agaresuto Senki Zero (アガレスト戦記 ZERO). A sequel will be released in 2010 under the name Agaresuto Senki 2 (アガレスト戦記２). In 2012, a PSP version of Agarest, known as Record of Agarest Wars:Marriage is in development.
