Basic Information[]

Humans in Agarest seem to be the dominant race on most of the continents. They comprise mostly of the ruling class with the kingdoms on each of the continent. They also seem to be the one race that is more likely to be greedy and/or a bit racist to other races. This occurs when they try and take over the lands of other races or when they show prejudice against elves. However, they are also the one race with the greatest honour and bravery.

The first hero in each game: Leonhardt, Sieghart, Weiss and Rain have been fully human. This is something that will more than likely continue if the series keeps on going. After the first generation, the heroes can be either fully human or have mixed blood of other races. So far the only race shown not able to breed with the humans is Ryulents, but this may be because they are a plant-like race and not capable of breeding.

Physical Characteristics[]

Humans are the most basic race of Agarest, with all other races being compared to them. They are the most diverse race in Agarest, with many different shapes and colors. Humans seem to have the shortest life span of all the races in Agarest. Winfield is the exception since he was made immortal by the Bracelet of the Covenant. Winfield is the only human member to join the party in all five Generations without the need of Forbidden Alchemy to create a Mannequin. Humans are the only race in the series that shows aging with the exception of Ellis and Fiona.

Abilities - Strengths and Weakness[]

Strengths[]

Humans are the most diverse of the races in terms of strength. They seem to be able to take on almost any job, be it something common like farming, working in a shop, or going into battles. They can use any weapon and have a good sense for magic.

Weaknesses[]

Humans are not the strongest race in Agarest physically, however, they are not weakest. Their short lives make them extremely vulnerable, and their greedy nature is constantly driving them to war with others. Because of this, a lot of races show distrust toward them.

Trivia[]

  • It should be noted that Humans and High Elves are the only two races that have a character in all Generations for all games so far. Ironically, all the humans are male.
    • Winfield and Ellis in Agarest
    • Alice and Eugene Agarest Zero
    • Fiona and Jainus in Agarest 2
  • While Dyshana is in all Generations she is not playable until the final Generation. Therefore, it can be said that Agents of the Gods are in all Generations but not playable in all Generations.
